The School of Life aims to establish an educational network that can inspire individuals, communities and society itself, to think and act creatively in order to achieve a positive future for our planet and ourselves.

Many challenges face present and future generations, but we also have many untapped resources: a world of alternative approaches to agriculture, energy, education and peace. Our network will enable professionals already working in many different fields to share their ideas and the implications of their work and research.

The School of Life (SoL) is an international foundation, registered in Spain, for the promotion of the tolerance and acceptance of all aspects of life. The interaction between human beings and the rest of nature will be in focus and environmental issues are an essential part of our work, both practically and theoretically. We are working to create a place where people can meet different philosophies, religions and ways of living, including the most dominant in our society today, and explore what each has to offer.

Today
We are building a network of different organisations and individuals finding positive and innovative ways of working towards the common goal of a sustainable future.
We are organising a varied programme of activities in Andalusia.

Tomorrow
Our short-term objective is to educate a different group of students each year through an Action-Reflection learning process (see full-time programme), and to organise a variety of courses and activities open to the public throughout the year in our residential centre.
Our long-term objective is to promote respect and understanding between different people and improve communication across fixed borders, inspiring humans to actively participate in the creation of their life.
