The
Star of 13 is a systematic tool for personal and spiritual
growth. Working with the system helps you to see your
own potential and develop parts of you that are lying
dormant, latent and ready to offer you an even richer
life. Anyone can benefit from using Star of 13: as
you investigate life issues related to Star of 13
and the 12+1 Primal Energies behind them, you will
begin to see where
you need to work while at the same time receiving
the necessary tools to enable you to do something
about it. You can apply the system at work and in
your family life, as well as when you are alone.
The
Primal Energies each have their own specific function
and all of them need to be made available and balanced.
As long as some Energies are neglected, others will
play too strong a role and dominate your life in unhealthy
ways. This is the case for the individual, as well
as for society and the entire planet.
To give an example let's look at Fire Energy and
the issue of transformation - letting go of the old
to move forward. The purpose of Fire Energy is to
let you know when it is time for change, so that you
seek new knowledge and new challenges at a pace that
is good for you. Too much of this Energy would fill
you with new ideas: you would be energetic and active,
but burning the candle from both ends. Restlessness
and a growing need for external stimuli would be the
result, and symptoms could be exaggerated seeking
of excitement through changing jobs, friends, sexual
partners, houses etc. On the other hand, if you have
too little Fire in your life you would be missing
the spark of life, and generally be lacking creativity,
vitality and passion. Life would be heavy and boring,
as routines take over and you become more and more
stuck. Movement, dance and meditation on the spiral
symbol will help you activate Fire when you need a
change.
Star
of 13 gives us the opportunity to work on ourselves
psychologically through the different life issues
connected to the Energies. You can also access your
non-rational side through work with symbols and the
more esoteric experience of the Energies. Over time,
as you integrate these ideas into your everyday life,
you will find that your communication improves, you
will have easier access to happiness, you will feel
more at peace as a result of fearless encounters with
yourself and others and your growing consciousness
will allow you to accept yourself more fully.
The Key to the Universe: A Toolkit from School

presentation of Star of 13 written by Joanna Crowson
and Silja Winther, with oracle cards painted by Katrina
Vrebalovich. Ideal for those who want to begin working
with the Primal Energies immediately, the book offers
an excellent way to grow and develop and is a good

Distance Training
Now you can enjoy learning about Star of 13 (S13)
in your own home: give yourself space, set yourself
free and improve your communication with your fellow
beings with the help of these tools. You can even
go on to train as a S13 teacher so you can inspire
others to initiate this dynamic and constructive work
in their everyday lives. This course is designed for
those who are not content with weekend workshops,
but who would like a systematic training in the S13
tools - every day. The course is divided into two
parts. Part 1 consists of 4 modules, which taken for
your own benefit give you an excellent overview of
the themes related to each Energy and the ability
to adjust under or over-activations to encourage creative
balance in your life. Part 2 consists of 5 modules
and would interest therapists, course leaders and
all those who want to become trainers in the system.
Participants who complete the training will become
accredited trainers in S13 and be able to offer courses
through our network. Based on 9 modules that, if followed
continuously, can be completed in 2-3 years.
Module
1: Dreaming Star of 13
An
independent introductory module for those who want
a 7-week taster of the system. This module uses an
intuitive approach and the language of symbols to
reach behind the rational defence mechanism, giving
you information you can work on with your rational
mind later. Every evening you will receive an SMS
on your mobile with an affirmation, meditation or
small task to take to bed and do just before going
to sleep. It is essential that you keep a diary in
the mornings with short notes about your feeling and
dreams. At the end of the course you will receive
an overview of which Energies and themes you have
been working with and a plan for continuing work on
yourself. The daily messages are sent from Spain to
a local coordinator. Any questions or problems are
directed to the coordinator, who will refer the matter
to the course leaders if necessary. You will give
the coordinator a short feedback every two weeks during
the course. After your final report, the course leaders
will give you feedback on your direction for work.
